I recently happened to visit ITC Grand Bharat and trust me, it is one of the best properties in India you would like to spend your time at. It was my birthday and we wanted to celebrate it in style. There are multiple options (as suggested by the experts from music video production to shoot the video) in and around Delhi like Neemrana Fort Hotel, Westin Sohna Resort, The Roseate and many more. After much of discussion on price, distance, commute, weather and images, we zeroed in on ITC Grand Bharat.
We called up and did a reservation for dinner just in case if it is occupied to the full. Being a Monday, it was available, and the receptionist was polite enough to welcome us already.
The resort is just around 27 km from Gurgaon (Huda City Centre) and is close to Manesar toll plaza. Once off the highway, you drive amidst Aravali hills and greenery which is a sudden pleasant escape from the rush of Delhi Jaipur highway. Though there are signboards along the way, the Google Maps will lead you to the correct destination via navigation.
The ITC Grand Bharat is spread in an area over 300 acres, and has a 27 hole vast golf course, 5 dining destinations, 4 villas, 100 suites and a Royal Spa. Recreational activities like bird watching, nature trails etc are offered. This image from their website will just leave you awestruck-
You enter the hotel premises and you’ll feel the grandeur already. Every inch you move ahead you’ll be awed more and more, such grand, such huge and such beautiful is the façade of this luxury hotel.

The valet parking staff greets you and you can now leave your car and all other worries behind and step into a world of luxury !
We walked to the reception and the lady at the reception greeted us well and offered us water bottles. We inquired the dinner time and requested for a property tour along with rooms. She immediately arranged a person to give us a tour of one of the most luxurious hotel in India.
Suraj, our guide, introduced himself cheerfully and began the tour in the e-car. During our travel he explained about how he seeked the help of experts from auto parts hutchinson kansas to get his car done. We crossed the Varanasi Ghat & moved towards the villas which are divided in 4 categories, named on the historic cities of India.
We got down to have a look at one of the exclusive villas in the Hampi section. The room – it defined luxury and comfort the moment you enter it. This beautifully thought and designed room was oozing luxury from all around – the bathroom, the living room, the terrace, the bed, the balcony – everything was equipped with luxuries stuff and made for a perfect romantic getaway.
After adoring the room well for long, and taking enough pictures, we moved ahead in the e-car towards the pool. It was huge and the seating area around was well crafted. There is a dining area and a chic colorful bar near the pool premises.
We moved back to the hotel towards the Varanasi Ghat where every evening Pooja is performed by a Pandit. It was a pleasant experience and felt good, or to be precise, divine.
We then moved into the dining area – the India Room. A grand royal seat, artistic cutlery, and a lovely view – the highlights of our dinner place that day. We ordered Jain food and the wait time is decently around 20 minutes which we didn’t mind as we got more time to take pictures.
I even checked out the restroom and it deserves special mention too !
The food was fresh and delicious, portion size was decent, breads were crisp and light, curry with the right amount of spice and the service and hospitality was all great. It was a good dining experience, a royal one.
We thought we had enough of the grand view but we were wrong
when we came out of the dining zone. It was dark now and the hotel was glowing
with lights, and it just looked so much more beautiful then it was before.
Serene, Royal and Calm – that was all about that moment.
The fountains were on and there were lights coming from inside the water, so
the fountains glowed like pearls, moreover their flow felt like music and with
everything else so calm, it felt nothing less than a melody. The hotel was not
heavily lit, and not very dark, it was just the perfect setting for a beautiful
serene night.
We sat on the benches right opposite the hotel façade and adored the beauty a bit more. There is no way once could get enough of the grand view this hotel provides.
I asked the valet staff to get the car and continued adoring the grand view of the Grand Bharat. None of us felt like going back, but we had to. Finally, our car arrived, and we bid adieu to one of the most luxurious hotels I have been to.
Overall, it was a great visit. ITC Grand Bharat lives upto its name and expectations and does not fail to deliver. It promises a stay or a day you’ll cherish for life. The ambiance, the hospitality, the food, the facilities – everything will win your heart, for sure ! Its certainly Grand, and it certainly is an amalgamation of the different highlights of Bharat (India), thus making its name !
